About

I’m Robert Dutcher. I live in Fresno and serve on the board of Pinedale County Water District, where I was appointed a director in December 2024.

My career has been in live television. I founded and ran Remote Transmission Management, a broadcast transmission company that served major networks and live events, and in 2022 I helped design and provision the transmission and master control operations for the launch of Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. More about that work is at dutcher.tv.

What this site is

This is where I share my own opinions: mostly on water district governance and local politics, and now and then food and whatever else is on my mind.

I am one of five directors, and nothing here speaks for the district or the board. When I write about district business, the documents themselves are posted in full, without commentary, at pcwdinfo.com, so you can read them and decide for yourself. I don’t post anything from the board’s closed sessions.
